The Campus Microscopy and Imaging Facility at Ohio State provides comprehensive microscopy and imaging services with advanced electron and light microscopy systems backed by expert staff.

The Campus Microscopy and Imaging Facility (CMIF), housed on the second floor of the Biomedical Research Tower at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center with a satellite facility in the basement of the Pelotonia Research Center at the West Campus Carmenton district, serves as a core imaging center under the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) and Comprehensive Cancer Center. Our facility welcomes researchers from Ohio State as well as external academic and industry partners.

Our full-service facility excels in every aspect of microscopy, from initial sample preparation through final image processing and analysis. Researchers have access to cutting-edge light microscopy equipment, electron microscopy, and specialized sample preparation instruments - all supported by our expert staff and a faculty advisory board.
